Situated in the crystal clear waters of the beautiful western Caribbean lies the Cayman Islands, which is comprised of three islands, Grand Cayman and the sister islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. This peaceful British Overseas Territory is located about 400 miles south of Miami, 180 miles south of Cuba and 195 miles northwest of Jamaica.  The Cayman Islands make up the the world's fifth largest financial center and because there is no direct taxation this jurisdiction is very attractive to foreign investors.  The Cayman Islands are known as one of the world's premier diving destinations, attracting tourists from around the globe.

Grand Cayman, the largest and most developed of the three islands, is 22 miles long and from   1 to 7 miles in width, with a population of approximately 55,000.  Georgetown is the capital and  the hub of this financial center.  The famous Seven Mile Beach, a beautiful crescent of coral sand beach is home to the majority of the island's hotels and resorts.  The most striking feature of this island is the North Sound, a shallow reef protected lagoon with an area of about 35 square miles.  Grand Cayman offers a beautiful and relaxing setting as well as activities and excursions for every age and interest.

Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are located 90 miles northwest of Grand Cayman.  Cayman Brac or simply "the Brac" as it is called by locals is 14 miles long and 1 mile wide and has a total land area of 17 square miles.  Geographically, Cayman Brac is the most dramatic with a prominent bluff that rises to 140 feet on the eastern end.  There are about 2,000 residents on Cayman Brac, most of which are native Brac'rs.  While the island has a well developed infrastructure and a modern airport there are no shopping malls, fast food restaurants or large business districts.  Instead, Cayman Brac offers natural beauty, friendliness and spectacular diving.

Little Cayman is as close to a private paradise as one could hope to find.  Appropriate to its name, Little Cayman is only 10 miles long and 1 mile wide.  This island is truly for those wishing to get away from it all.  With a permanent population of just over 150, the island's primary residents are birds and iguanas.  Little Cayman is home to over 2,000 Cayman Rock Iguanas and the avid bird watcher will be sure to visit Booby Pond, which has the largest known breeding colony of Red Footed Booby and the only breeding colony of Magnificent Frigate Birds in this hemisphere.  On Little Cayman, you’ll find privacy and total relaxation. Bask yourself on empty beaches, dive the world famous Bloody Bay Wall, venture to remote South Hole Sound Lagoon for a private swim or row out to tiny, deserted Owen Island to enjoy a picnic.  Here, you can truly ease the body and soul. There is no paved runway, only a grass landing strip, but that only enhances the experience of visiting this private, unspoiled island gem.  Even though the population is sparse you’ll find a reliable electricity supply, state of the art telecommunications services and excellent accommodations.  Little Cayman is the ideal backdrop for a relaxing vacation or a truly individual piece of real estate.
